Day 26

Today I'm thankful for the newest member of our family.  (At least for the next 30 days) Buzz the Elf came to us Saturday after we got home from Mississippi.  Santa must have seen how good Brody was on vacation.  It's was Brody choice to name the Elf.  It was either Santa's friend or Buzz.  We all decided that we liked Buzz the best.  Brody wasn't interested in Buzz saturday night.  All he wanted to do was go to bed.  Brody woke up the next morning to Buzz drinking out of his cup.  Brody said, "Hey Buzz, you can't drink out of my cup."  This morning Brody got up and ran straight for the living room.  Buzz had made a mess with the Christmas light.  Brody ran straight for the lights and said, Oh Buzz!!!!!   I can't wait to see what Buzz will be up to for the rest of the month!

Day 12

Today I'm thankful for the patience my brother shows for Brody.  Brody was playing doctor lastnight looking in Lulu's ears and belly.  He wanted to make sure there were no birdies in Lulu's ears.  Brody would say, "I'm Dr. Daddy" then stick out his hand to shake it and say, "Nice to meet you"  Brody did this to Lulu, Mamoo, and myself for about an hour.  He would take the stool with him everything were he went.  He was pretending to be Dr. Nelson!

Day 8

She was the person who pulled me out of my bed when I was little.
She was the person who stood by my side when we were little.
She always looked after me as we were growing up.
She helped me every morning when I had a broken back.
She helped me skip school!
She helped me with my house.
She helped me with my wedding.  She went above and beyond on my wedding.
She helped with my craziness when I was trying to get pregnant.
She would tell me when I as acting silly while I was trying to get pregnant.
She was there for me when I was trying to get pregnant.
She was there for me when I got pregnant
She threw the most amazing baby shower.
She was there for me when I was in delivery...not so much afterwards!!! :)
She was the one who came to my house when I so badly needed a nap when Brody was just a few days old to snuggle with him.

I have the best sister anyone can ask for.  She is always there for me when I need her.  She is the best listener.  She gives all of her time to our family no questions asked.  She never puts herself first.  I always call her for advise and tell her everything.  We have no secrets that's for sure!  I'm very proud of who she is today.  She has always been there for me and I so grateful!  I just wish she would give me a niece or nephew.  :)

So today I'm thankful for my sister Lisa.  I know that Thank you will never be enough!

Day 6

I've been dreading this appointment for 2 weeks now.  I knew in my heart that everything was fine with my little guy, but I needed confirmation from the Dr.  Brody was sick two weeks ago with the vomits.  He threw up a total of 16 times.  He lost 4.8 lbs and honestly I was worried.  I couldn't believe he could lose that much weight in two days.  I took B back to the doctors this morning and Brody was super excited.  He couldn't wait to see Dr Elson...:) (Nelson)  He was sitting in Dr. Nelson's chair checking our belly's.  He was also checking to see if we had birdies in our ears!  Dr. Nelson walked into the room and Brody greeted him with a big wave and a smile!  He told Dr. Elson that he could sit in his seat.  He also asked Dr. Elson if he could check his belly.  Phillip and I were laughing!  Brody did great at the check-up.  He was so full of information and even carried on a conversation with the Dr.  He also told the Dr. that he loved him!!! AWWWW!!!  So today I'm THANKFUL that Brody, my world, the love of my life, the reason I get up every single morning, is healthy!  He's more than healthy!  He's Perfect!  He's gain back all of the weight he lost.

Day 5

This is my 2nd year to participate in the Tiny Tim Holiday Fantasy.  This event is truly amazing.  All the proceeds go to the Leann Britain Center where my nephew goes to school.  The school helps kids like Bo get an education even if you can't afford to go there.  All the money raised last night goes directly to the Britain Center.  I'm thankful to be apart of such an amazing event.

Day 2

Day two....I'm thankful for my day care lady who takes care of my son Monday through Friday!  Cheryl has taught Brody so much.  He can count to 20.  He can say all of his colors.  He can say all of his shapes.  He can tell you what animal is what and what sound they make.  He can sing songs.  He can say please and thank you at all the appropiate times.  He can play well with other and share most days!  Brody brings a project home everyday.  It could be a painting, flash cards, letters, animals made out of construction paper.  I can't wait to get home everyday just to see what Brody has made.  I also love that Brody loves it too.  He told Phillip yesterday that he made him a painting at Cheryl's!  Today I'm thankful for Cheryl.  I never could imagine Brody with anyone other then family and now look how far we've come!

Day one of giving thanks!

I feel like I can take a few minutes of everyday to say what I am thankful for.  Day one is about being thankful for The Peck's!  For the 3rd year in a row we have gone to their house for Halloween and every year it gets bigger and bigger.  This year they went above and beyond with the amount of food and treats.  Becky always tries her best to make sure everyone has everything they want or ask for.   She also made all the kids their own individual sack of candy and of course a toothbrush.  The house was decorated to the max and all the kids loved it.  There was a face painting party in the kitchen for all the kids that needed something on their face which was almost all of them!  We all headed out for a fantastic night of Trick-or-Treating.  The kids ran and ran and ran.  They couldn't wait to get to the next house.  Brody was usually the last one to the house.  His space boots wouldn't allow him to run as fast plus his 2 1/2 year old legs!! :)   Brody would say... "Wait for me guys" or "I'm coming friends"  Brody and most of the kids went through the haunted house.  Yes, I took my 2 1/2 year old through a haunted house.  He loved it.  He kept saying, "Mommy this is scary, or oh that's creepy."  So, on this first day of giving thanks I would like to THANK the Peck's for always taking my family in and treating us as if we are part of their own family!
