Wordless Wednesday!

Thankful Thursday!

Today I'm thankful for a little boy who is so creative.  This morning he woke up and said, "Mommy my eye hurts."  I told him to let me look at it to make sure everything was okay.  He instantly said it's okay.  "It's okay mommy, it was just a crocodile in my eye." LOL!!!!!  Love this little guy so much! 

We also talked about his birthday party.  He told me he wanted a blue cake and blue balloons for his birthday.  We talked about his party and how we were going bowling for his birthday.  He went into the kitchen to start practicing throwing the pretend bowling ball.  He said he knocked down all of the pins!  He is so excited for his BLUE birthday party!

Easter Sunday 2013

 What a gorgeous Easter Sunday!!!

Dr. Appointment.

I went to the doctor's on Friday for my 13 week check-up.  The doctor could not find the baby's heartbeat It was pretty scary.  I was a little freaked out.  I went for a sonogram which says it all!!! :)  Heart rate 162.  All is well!!!

Spring Break 2013 Cali!!!

 Our Cali trip started at 5:00 Wednesday morning.  We have to be at the airport by 6:30 for an 8:00 flight.  The flight was great.  Smooth sailing.  Brody did awesome!  He's becoming a great travel buddy! 

 We landed in Cali at 9:00.  This is a pic of the kids on the shuttle on our way to get our rental car. 

 We made it to Aunt Theresa's house around 12:00.  The kids could not wait to get in the pool!  The pool was alittle chilly, so we decided to go to the beach instead of swimming in the pool. 

The kids couldn't be more excited about being at the beach.  Wednesday was the only day it was cloudy! 

 The was a rest area where we stopped to look at the ship in the ocean.  Brody threw rocks!

 Friday morning we got up early to catch the ferry to Catalina Island!  What a fantastic day!

Sunday we spent the day at Huntington Beach.  What a fantastic way to end the vacation!  

Special Surprise!

So, took a pregnancy test on February 8th.  It was positive.  What?  Did that really happen?  Are you serious?  I honestly think I had convinced myself that we would be a family of three forever.    Shock took over my body and I started to laugh.  I called Phillip into the bathroom so he could witness the news.  Plus his reaction was important to me.  Phillip was speechless...literally.  It took him a few minutes to get it together.  I couldn't wait to tell my mom.  I asked Phillip if we could go to my moms right away!  10 minutes later and we were at my moms.  I blurted out...We are pregnant and she cried and cried and cried.  I hadn't cried yet.  I was still in shock!  I told the "FAMILY" even got to tell Lisa on skype since she was in Roatan on vacation.  I finally got into the Dr. Office on the 25th.  Baby's heart rate 154 and measuring 8 weeks.  Due Date is October 2, 2013.  How did I get so lucky.  Most people will never witness a miracle in their lifetime and here we are witnessing two.
