Baby Sister!

Brody can not stop talking about his baby sister.  He's told me that his baby sister needs to sleep in her own bed!  He tells me that his baby sister needs to hold his blanket.  She needs to get big and strong.  Last night was one of the best moments.  Brody put both hands on my belly and said "Mommy, my baby sister is being so quite."  I hope he's this sweet when his baby sister gets here...that's if its a girl!!!   How will he react if it's a baby brother!!! :) 

My kid!

Yep this is my kid!  He is the most important thing in my life.  I'm so blessed to have such an amazing kid.  When things get hairy in this world and thing don't always go my way I can always count on this kid to make my day!  My priorities are and will always be my family. What was a family of three will soon be a family of four and I couldn't be happier.  I can't wait to welcome the newest Cothren to the family very soon!

Thankful Thursday!

Today I'm thankful for a little boy who is so creative.  This morning he woke up and said, "Mommy my eye hurts."  I told him to let me look at it to make sure everything was okay.  He instantly said it's okay.  "It's okay mommy, it was just a crocodile in my eye." LOL!!!!!  Love this little guy so much! 

We also talked about his birthday party.  He told me he wanted a blue cake and blue balloons for his birthday.  We talked about his party and how we were going bowling for his birthday.  He went into the kitchen to start practicing throwing the pretend bowling ball.  He said he knocked down all of the pins!  He is so excited for his BLUE birthday party!

Easter Sunday 2013

Dr. Appointment.

I went to the doctor's on Friday for my 13 week check-up.  The doctor could not find the baby's heartbeat It was pretty scary.  I was a little freaked out.  I went for a sonogram which says it all!!! :)  Heart rate 162.  All is well!!!

Spring Break 2013 Cali!!!

 Our Cali trip started at 5:00 Wednesday morning.  We have to be at the airport by 6:30 for an 8:00 flight.  The flight was great.  Smooth sailing.  Brody did awesome!  He's becoming a great travel buddy! 

 We landed in Cali at 9:00.  This is a pic of the kids on the shuttle on our way to get our rental car. 

 We made it to Aunt Theresa's house around 12:00.  The kids could not wait to get in the pool!  The pool was alittle chilly, so we decided to go to the beach instead of swimming in the pool. 

The kids couldn't be more excited about being at the beach.  Wednesday was the only day it was cloudy! 

 The was a rest area where we stopped to look at the ship in the ocean.  Brody threw rocks!

 Friday morning we got up early to catch the ferry to Catalina Island!  What a fantastic day!

Sunday we spent the day at Huntington Beach.  What a fantastic way to end the vacation!
