My sweet sweet boy!!!

Brody climbed up on my lap last night after playing outside all evening and said, "Mommy, can I hug you?"  I said I would love that!  He said, "can I hug your baby. "  I said of course you can.  He said, "Mommy, your baby is so cute!"  Good grief I love this kid! 

Special Delivery!!!

We have the most amazing people in our lives.  Friday night we came home to a gift on the front porch.  3 pink balloons, two of the most adorable outfits, and of course a ball for Brody!  Thank you Peck family for being the most amazing family ever!  This totally made our day!

Brody's birthday present came yesterday!  Brody was so excited!  He loves his new bed! 

Another proud mommy moment!

Sheryl called me at 8:00 this morning so Brody could tell me something.  His little sweet voice said, "Mommy, I peed on the toilet."  I could not be more excited.  I kept telling him good job and how proud of him I was and he responded back with Thank you mommy!  Good grief  I can't stop smiling!  I'm so proud of that little guy.  Peed on the toilet today and gets his new big boy bed today!  Today is going to be a great day!

Proud Mommy Weekend!!!

I'm determined to get Brody potty trained way before the new baby gets here.  I had decided that last weekend was the weekend.  I planned to stay home all weekend and do nothing but potty potty potty!  Saturday morning Brody and I got up and the first thing we did was put on big boy underwear.  We went about our morning playing.  No TV...just playing and asking about going potty.  Brody finally went potty for the first time around 10:00.  Oh my gosh...he was so excited.  He couldn't wait to call Judd.  Yep, I said it...Judd!  I couldn't stop laughing!  We called daddy and Brody told daddy that he pottied in the toilet.  Brody pottied a few more times before falling asleep.  Potty time was hard work and Brody could hardly keep his eyes open.  He slept for about 2 hours.  He woke up just in time to show daddy how he could pee on the potty.  He was acting so big in front of Phillip.  He told Phillip to stand back and watch him.  Too cute!!!  We got ready and went to Mimi's house.  Brody went down is big boy pants.  We all had plans to eat at the boat.  Brody went with a diaper on but didn't pee in the diaper.  He even peed at the boat before we left.  Saturday was a successful day.  Brody only had one accident.  It was after we got home from dinner.  He was busy playing playdoo and forgot he didn't have a diaper on! :)  Sunday was just as successful.  Brody would tell us everytime he had to potty!
