Wordless Wednesday!

3 year check!

Brody's 3 year check was fantastic!  Brody is growing like a weed!  3ft 2in tall and weighs 30lbs!  He was so excited to see Dr. Nelson until we got there of course!!! :)  Brody finally warmed up to Dr. Nelson right before it was time to go.  Brody was talking to Dr. Nelson and Dr. Nelson was busy doing paperwork.  Brody looked at me and said, Mommy, he's not listening to me." :)  Dr. Nelson and I started cracking up.  He asked me if people understood Brody when he talked!  He said he can definitely understand him!  He couldn't believe how well he talks!  He loved that Brody could carry on a conversation with him!  We still continue to check the indention in Brody's chest.  Dr. Nelson says it still looks ok!  Nothing to worry about!  Dr. Nelson was also really excited about the new addition to the family! 

Something I would never do.....

But how could I resist? 

How could I talk about the evening Brody, Gracy, and I had last night.  Brody wanted to look at my belly...my bare belly.  He wanted to hug Gracy and tell her sweet somethings!  I just hope Brody is as excited when she get here!  I think he will be an amazing big brother!!! 

Happy 3rd Birthday Brody!!!

 Brody birthday started at the park.  We got there around 7:45 for donuts and a little birthday song from mommy and daddy!

 We found the rocks!  Brody literally threw rocks for 3 hours at the park! 

We left the park around 11:30.  We had to get home to rest a little before we had to be at the bowling alley for Brody's bowling party.  He couldn't wait to go bowling.  He has been talking about this for weeks!  Over all...everyone had a great time!

 Thank you to Aunt Lisa for another amazing cake!  I forgot to take a picture with my camera!  They were ice cream cones filled with cake and icing tipped over and decorated like bowling pins!  Love love love!!!!!

I FOUND A PIC!!!

 We left bowling and Brody feel asleep instantly!  I let him sleep until 6:30 because we had dinner reservations at 7:00 at Shogun for Leksi and Brody's birthday dinner!  Dinner was delicious!

The evening was spent playing with a few toys that Brody got that day! 

Happy Birthday Brody!  This was one of my favorite days!!! 



Happy Birthday Eve!!!

Today Mrs. Cheryl celebrated Brody's birthday with all of his friends.  We pulled up to the house this morning with a HUGE banner in the window that said Happy Birthday Brody!!!  I was filled with emotions.  I instantly got tears in my eyes.  I love that she goes above and beyond for Brody!  They had chicken nuggets, french fries, and ketchup for lunch.  I made individual snacks for all the kids which included, dirt and worms in separate cups, fruit snacks, and yogurt.  All of Brody's favorites!  I can't wait to get home and hear all about his day. 

Tomorrow is the big day.  We are super excited to spend the day with B!  We have a big day planned!!!
