Soccer!!!

I know I can't believe it either.  Brody is not even two yet and he is playing soccer.  The first week did not go so well.  Brody did not want to do anything but kick the soccer ball.  Practice is all about listening and following directions.  The only direction Brody was interested in was the net because that is where he wanted to kick the ball. 

The second week was so much better.  Brody was a different kid.  He wasn't 100% but he was a completely different kid.  He sat on the red circles.  He ran with the kids.  He also did the obstacle course 3 times.  He kick, hit, smashed, and popped the bubbles.  He even popped the bubbles with his nose!  This was a very proud moment for Phillip and I.  I was really concern.  I was thinking we started Brody way too early!  I'm hoping this week will be much better then the other two!

Thankful Thursday!

Today I'm thankful for.....BRODY!!!!  I can't believe how much my big boy talks!  He says so many words and repeats everything!  This morning we were driving to Mrs. Cheryl's and Brody said, "Bye Choo Choo Train...See ya tomorrow!  Yesterday he said the RAINBOW was pretty.  He said, Mommy look at the rainbow, its pretty, so awesome!!!  Love my kid!!!

Busy!!!!!

Saturday morning we got up because Brody had his first soccer practice.  He was so excited when he got up.  He couldn't wait to play soccer with Bennett.  Brody did not do so well.  He did not understand why he had to do drills when really all he wanted to do was kick the soccer ball.  The whole family came out to the practice including the Pecks.  At one point B went out on the field with Judd.  At the end of practice, Brody was asked if he wanted a monkey stamp.  He did not want a monkey stamp.  This boy of mine....  This week we are going to keep it just Brody, Daddy, and I.  Maybe this will keep B focused!!! :)  We stayed for Dyson's practice and Brooklyn's practice.  After that we went over to Bennett's game.  We took Brody home for a long over due nap.  Then we headed back over to the Peck's for the Sporting KC game and well deserved margs!  Saturday was a long day.  Oh, I'm glad we didn't get the weather they were calling for. 

Sunday we got up and went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  We played over there for 3 hours.  Went home and B went down for a nap because we had to be at Baylee's game at 2:15.  Baylee lost her game but she did score a goal.  We headed home to get a change of clothes because Johnny had a double header. Brody was so good at the game.  He was playing with all the kids.  I hope Brody loves baseball as much as mommy and daddy!  Phillip was showing Brody how to pitch on the mound.  Brody was saying "Bye baseball game"  all the way to our car!  Little Stinker!!!  We all had a great time at the game!!!  We got home a 8:30 last night.  What a long long long weekend!!!!
