Summer 2013

Here are just a few pictures of Brody of things he's done so far this summer! 

Brody LOVES chocolate ice cream.  He definitely gets that from me! 

 Brody loves to be outside.  He would rather be outside then doing anything else.  Our new nightly activity is...Catching lighting bugs.  Brody will catch a few then let them crawl all over his arms before they fly off!

 Brody and I spent the afternoon outside drawing on the driveway!  Brody loves to play with chalk!

Brody loves the pool!  He is not affraid of the water at all this year.  We gathered up the kids and headed out.  Brody and Brookie had a lot of fun.  Brookie finally went down the slide about 2 hours after we got to the pool!

First Professional Hair Cut!!!

June 15th/Weston Red Barn/Wedding Day!!! :)

 Finally a year of planning and the day is here.  Uncle Kevin and Aunt Brandy got married June 15th at Weston Red Barn.  The barn was beautiful.  The weather wasn't perfect but we made it work.  Brody did amazing.  He was so good all day and all night.  Yes, we gave him as many suckers and cheese balls he asked for!  You can see daddy in the picture with the sucker.  Brody would give daddy the sucker so he could smile then take it right back!  So proud of our B! 

Aunt Lisa was responsible for almost every smile.  She was playing with Brody to get the best smiles he had to offer.  Thanks Aunt Lisa for getting B!!! :)  And for saying...Don't you give them my smiles!  Those are my smiles!  Reverse psychology works every time!!

Special thank you to my family for helping out.  Lisa did so much!  She was with me all day Saturday and helped all day and all night.  Lisa was pretty much the wedding planner and then some!  I would not have been able to do it without her.  Carolyn and Angie for getting all the girls hair done.  Scooby and Leslie for supplying all the ice and transporting it to Weston.

Denton's Farm!

Memorial day weekend was spent at the Denton's Farm!  Brody had the time of his life!  Both Saturday and Sunday he got to do all the things little boys love to do!  He got to play in the dirt, ride four wheelers, fish, swim, throw rocks and more rocks, played with the dog, and ate jelly sandwiches!  We had a fantastic weekend at the farm!   Since I had to get in the water on Saturday...Aunt Lisa was super excited to come out on Sunday to play in the water with Brody!  Brody and Aunt Lisa having a good ole time!  Brody was being brave and going out with Aunt Lisa.  I calmly said to Aunt Lisa....I'm being serious when I say this...there is a snake behind you.  Brody and her got out of the water very quitely.  Everyone yelled snake and the guns came out!  Wyllie Joe said he got it but it was just a stick.  Later that day we found another snake.  They got this one!!! :)  What I would give to go back just to get a picture!  Thank you Aunt Lisa for swimming in the snake infested water with your super special nephew!  He truly enjoyed himself!
