Friday March 9th we headed to the airport. I was great all the way there. Brody was in a great mood. He couldn't wait to see Bennett, Brooklyn, Judd, Becky, Gage, Adley, Kelli, and Brad. We got all checked in which was a simple process. Now we wait to board. We finally boarded the plane. Brody was calm and quiet. He sat in the seat very still. Both flights, one to St Lous, and the other flight from St Louis to Orlando were perfect!
We finally got to our condo. I was told to wait outside. I was so ready to get inside to see the place. I walked in with candles lit and happy birthday balloons! I was so surprised!
We walked around the condo to figure out where everyone was sleeping. We picked our rooms then the girls headed out to the store. We pick up breakfast stuff and snacks for the theme parks.
Once I got back from the store, Brody was ready for bed. He didn't understand why he couldn't go to his bed. It was really sad for me. Brody got to sleep in bed with me all week.
Saturday morning we woke up to find that rain was in the forecast. We had planned to go to the beach. We decided to go to Sea World instead. Sea World was amazing. We had the best time. Our favorite part of Sea World was the dolphins, whales, and sea lions. All the kids did awesome! Oh, the best part of the whole day was NO RAIN!!!
Sunday we got up early to head to the beach. We had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. We pulled in to Clearwater and I was in shock. The beach was beautiful. It took us about a hour to find a place to park. The guys dropped all the kids and the wives off, so we could get the kids covered in sunscreen. The sand felt like sugar between my toes. Brody on the other hand would not put his feet down. He wanted nothing to do with the sand at first. Brody loved the water. He didn't care that it was SO cold!!! We all had a great time at the beach. We played catch with the football. We searched for seashells. We made a sand castle. We buried the kids in the sand and we played soccer on the beach. Brody was acting crazy. He was laying in the sand, chasing the pigeons, and throwing sand on the girls. He was having a great time! The sun was getting ready to go down and the clouds looked like it was going to rain. We packed up our stuff so we could find a restaurant on the beach. Our view at dinner was stunning. Dinner was delicious. Phillip and I both tired grouper and it was fantastic. They had a character walking around. Judd paid for all the kids to have one. Thank you Uncle Judd!!! Bennett want not happy with hers. She wished she would've told the man that she was a tomboy! :) She did not want to be a mermaid!
