Christmas 2012

The entire family gets together every Christmas Eve and every year we make food and have a gift exchange.  The last two years have been as seen on TV gifts.  Luke got a phone that you connect to you Iphone.  Hilarious!  Scooby got the lap from A Christmas Story.  Hilarious! The whole family crowded around the living room and just hung out and watched A Christmas Story until about 9:30. 

It was time to get home and get the house ready for Santa.  Brody went to bed right after we got home.  Phillip and I got everything together around 10:30 then off to bed we went.  I was so excited to see Brody's face Christmas morning.  Brody got up around 3:00 and come upstairs.  I'm not sure how he missed all of the presents in the living room but he did.  We woke Brody up at 6:30, so we could open present.  I thought this process would last a hour or so...I was wrong.  Brody walked down stairs.  Looked at the presents and said...What did Santa bring me?  Look at all these presents.  He looked at the trucks first.  Then he went to the work bench.  Then he went to the drum set.  He grabbed both drumsticks and hit them together counting 1,2,3....then that when the drumming started! Phillip and I were cracking up.  We told Brody to open some of the presents that Santa brought him.  He opened one gift with drumsticks in hand.  We told him to open another present and he said....are we done yet?  Oh Geezzz son.  The day has just begun! 

We got down to my moms at 8:00.  Brody was so excited about his bike.  All three kids rode the bikes in the kitchen.

We got to Grandma and Grandpa's about 10:30.  Brody had fun opening presents again for the 3rd time.  Phillip was wearing the headlight when Brody asked to wear it.  Brody was looking at all of his toys with that headlight! 

Brody was playing with all of his toys from Grandma and Grandpa when we looked down at him and he was sound asleep.  Sound asleep with one of his men in his hand.  Too funny! 

Christmas night we went back to my moms.  Brody was telling Mimi all about his drums and wanted Mimi to play the drums on his belly!  He was cracking up!  Christmas 2012 was a success.
