Brody ready for Mrs. Sheryl's!

Everyday gets easier and easier.  Brody is such a big boy!  He's always so good in the mornings.  We get up, get dressed, brush our teeth, and out the door to Mrs. Sheryl's!  Brody did not cry this morning.  In fact, he was kissing me and hugging me before I got him to the door!  I put Brody down and he acted like he owned the place.  (Lulu picked out this shirt!)

Fun filled weekend!!!

Thursday Brody had his 15 month check up.  Everything went great except we had to sit in the waiting room for almost 2 hours.  This is no fun for a 15 month old.  He was running all over the place and kissing a little girl in the office. :)  It was really cute, but I was getting frustrated.  2 hours is far too long to sit at the doctor's office. 

 We finally got back into a room.  Brody got all of this measurements.  Brody is right on track.  He weighs 21 lbs and 10 oz.  He's 30 3/4 inches all. 

 Brody was so excited to be at the doctors office...until we saw Dr. Nelson!!!!  :) 

 Dr. Nelson assured me that it was ok Brody was not eating or sleeping at Mrs. Cheryl's.  He told me that he will eat when he's hungry, sleep when he's tired, and sit on the big boy potty when he's ready!!! 

 The morning after the shots.  Brody would not walk.  The nurse must have hit a muscles.  He was unable to walk all morning.  Mrs. Cheryl called me a little after 10:00 to tell you that Brody was finally walking again!!!   

 Saturday we went shopping at the Legends!  Brody got everything he wanted and then some!!

Thankful Thursday!

I'm incredibly thankful for the smooth daycare transition.  I would not have said this on Friday, Monday, or Tuesday. :)  Brody walked into Mrs. Cheryl's on Wednesday and gave me a big kiss and off he went to play with his new friends Leah and Hope!  I was so happy that Brody is such a brave boy!  He adapts to change very well!    Brody is only taking one nap a Cheryl's and the nap is only lasting an hour.  Needless to say Brody is so tired when he gets home.  I'm hoping that he goes back to his regular routine soon!

Everyday is getting better!!!!

I took off to be with Brody on Friday and Monday.  Friday we played at Mrs. Cheryl's so Brody could get to know all the kids.  Overwhelmed is the only way to describe his first day. All the kids wanted to play with him.  All he wanted was his mommy!  The last 30 minutes was great.  Brody was trying to kiss Nora, she was not having it!!!  Brody and I stayed for a few hours when I finally said lets go.  We got in the car and Brody went right to sleep!  That's when it hit me.  I cried and cried and cried!  I couldn't believe how hard it was for me.   I had to get Brody up from his nap to run into work. I had to do a few things so I took B with me.  He was awesome at work.  He was running all over the place.  He was playing with everyone, giving high 5's, kicking the soccer ball, and even let Jason hold him. 

 Saturday night we played on the driveway.  Mamoo and papa got all three kids their own chairs.  Brody loved his chair.  When he's not sitting in the chair he's pushing the chair. 

 Brody thinks this is a real skateboard.  He tired to ride it over and over again! 

 Brody's new thing is playing in the laundry basket!  The thinks it's funny to climb in and fall out!

 We went to dinner that night with my mom and dad!  Brody just loves his papa!!!

 Monday...Oh monday....I got up early to drop Brody off at Mrs. Cheryl's.  I planned for Brody to stay 1/2 days just so he could get used to it.  I walked out of the house and I could hear him crying.  I pulled out of the driveway because I was crying myself!  I had to get out of there!  I called Mrs. Cheryl about 30 minutes later to make sure Brody was ok.  She told me that he cried for about 15 minutes!  This was heartbreaking.  Brody never cries for 15 minutes!  I was counting down the minutes to 11:30.  When I got there Mrs. Cheryl told me that Brody had not eaten breakfast, snack, lunch, and had not taken a nap.  She tried to lay him down for 39 minutes and Brody would never fall asleep!  I put Brody in the car and it took him one minute to go to sleep!  Then I cried again!!! 

 Brody is spending snuggle time with Ryder!!! Ry Ry!!!

Thankful Thursday!

This summer was a fantastic summer!  Carolyn has been so busy with Bo that watching Brody was getting too much for her.  I ask Sarah to keep Brody for the summer.  Who would've thought I would trust someone so much!  Sarah has been amazing for our family.  Brody loves her so much and she loves him just the same!  Sarah started this book for Brody at the beginning of summer.  She writes down everything in the book.  She starts with breakfast, snack, nap, lunch, activity, snack, and nap again.  I'm so thankful for all the things Sarah has done for us this summer. 

Sarah took Brody to the pool, fair, kaleidoscope, fountains, her house :), shopping, doctors appointments, school enrollment, vet, target, took cover for a tornado and kept my boy safe!!!! :)  Thank you Sarah for a wonderful summer!!!

Sunday morning!!!

Sunday morning we got up and took Brody for a walk in the wagon.  He loves going for long walks with Mommy and Daddy!  After our long walk Brody got home and took a 4 hour nap.  This is when I discovered Brody had a fever.  We stayed home the rest of the day to try and kick the fever.  Brody's fever finally broke this morning.  I took a peek in his mouth to find Tooth Number 9!!!  I feel so bad for Brody.  He has the hardest time cutting teeth.  Cutting teeth is also hard on mommy!!! :)

Wordless Wednesday!

Too hot for the swimming pool!!!

 The heat is just unreal.  I know we complain when it's too cold, but really this weather is no fun.  You can not go to the swimming pool because it feels like bath water.  I don't enjoy the pool when it's that hot.  The perfect way to stay cool is to turn on the hose.  We went down to Mamoo's nad Papa's lastnight to play in the water with Brookie and Bo.  Bo is not a big fan of the water.  Brody and Brookie are a different story.  They had a great time playing together.  Brookie would take a pitcher poor it on Brody's head!  Brody was being a good sport!  He also loves to drink the water.  I DO NOT LIKE IT WHEN HE DOES THIS!!!! 

I didn't get all the pictures of him in the pool because I was too busy helping B keep his head out of the water.  He was having such a good time laying on his belly and sticking his face in the water!

Busy weekend...again!!!

Friday night Sarah took Brody to the fair and played at the petting zoo while Daddy and I had date night with the Peck's and Maxwell's!  We went to watch Marcus fight.  Becky was not able to make if because Bennett was not feeling well so it was Kelli and I!!  The fight was over around 12:30.  We ate Ihop around 1:00ish and then home right around 2:00.  I haven't seen 2:00 am in a long time!!! Brody got up just like normal around 7:00.  7:00 is when we started our day.  We had breakfast, cleaned house, went shopping, Uncle Kevin and Brandy came over to play for a little while.  By this time is was time to get showered so we can be at the Tbones game at 5:30:)  The game didn't start until 7:10...oopps!!!  Thankfully we sat in the car until everyone got there.  Brody was so good at the game.  He was running all over the place!!!  Hung out with the boys most of the time.  Fireworks started around 11:00ish.  We finally got home after 12:00.  Sunday morning we got up and went shopping most of the day.  You and daddy went to Grandma and Grandpa's so mommy could get in a much needed nap!!! 

As you can see we had a very long weekend at our house.  All we did was run run run!!!  Monday morning Brody got up and ate breakfast.  I left the house around 7:15 when I got a text from Sarah with this picture!  My sweet baby!!!!
