Brody meeting his Pre K teacher!

So the last few days I have done my best to prepare Brody about going to Preschool. Honestly he was not that excited about going to school. He was upset last night about going to meet his teacher and even asked me why he had to go. This morning was completely different. I woke Brody up around 7:45. I made him jelly toast for breakfast and a cup of chocolate milk....his favorite. I let him watch a little TV then it was time to brush his teeth and hair then get dressed. He's finally getting excited about school. He told me he was going to tell the teacher that he went to the beach with Becky, Bennett, and Brooklyn, that he likes to brush his teeth, and that there was a baby bird in the yard. We talked about his teacher's name. He kept calling her Mr. Schultz when it's really Mrs. We pulled up to school and Kenley and Candie pulled in right behind us. Brody and Kenley chatted for a minute about their backpacks and off we went! Brody walked into his classroom and the first thing he did was potty! He introdued himself to his teacher and started playing on the floor with daddy while mommy filled out all of the paper work and his note for the first day of school. Mrs. Shultz told Brody and Tyson (his new friend already) that they were going to paint the first day of school. Brody looked at me and asked me to get in my car and drive away. I think we will do just fine at school! I can't believe my baby is going to school. I can't believe time has gone by this quickly. Yesterday we brought our baby home from the hospital and today we are taking him to school. Brody, We are so proud of you. We can't wait to see what the school year brings for you! I'm looking forward to every single story good or bad! We love you very much!

Where should I begin.....

Let's just say that this pregnancy has been a little different then the first time around! I have the most amazing partner in the world. Phillip has been so great and I can't express how much he truly means to us! He's doing everything around the house like cooking, cleaning, laundry, taking care of the dogs, and most importantly taking care of Brody and I. Phillip has been so busy these past few weeks just working as hard as he can to get everything ready around the house for Gracy ...AKA....Toots...at least that's what Brookie calls her.!!! :) This past weekend we had a garage sale and worked for about 17 hours to get Gracy's room done! What a relief. 6 weeks away and are just getting to it. I'm so thankful for my mom, dad, Frankie, and Phillip who worked their tails off all weekend to get it done! The room is super cute! I couldn't be more excited about it! Now we are ready for her when she is ready to make her appearance! We love you daddy!
